Mataram, June 23, 2026 – Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Mataram continues to solidify its steps toward global recognition. Thru the Quality Assurance Agency (LPM), UIN Mataram held a meeting to evaluate the progress of the preparation of the Self Evaluation Report (SAR) document for the international ACQUIN accreditation in the Rector’s Meeting Room, Tuesday (23/6/2026).

This crucial meeting aims to measure the extent of the progress in preparing the Self Evaluation Report (SAR) document, which is an absolute requirement for the assessment. The evaluation was conducted comprehensively thru presentations by each coordinator of Cluster 1, 2, and 3.
This activity was attended by important university leadership, including the Chair, Secretary, and all Heads of Centers (Kapus) of LPM UIN Mataram; the Secretary of LP2M; the Heads of Bureaus (AAK and AUPKK); all Heads of Study Programs (Kaprodi) at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels; as well as all Cluster Coordinators involved in preparing the SAR document.

Joint Commitment and Remaining Time Challenges. When opening the event, the Chairman of LPM UIN Mataram, Prof. Dr. Fahrurrozi, M.A., provided critical notes regarding the team’s progress. He emphasized that the current progress in compiling the documents is still not fully in line with the expected targets. “We expect total commitment and seriousness from the entire team to fulfilll the responsibilities that have been assigned.” “This is a major undertaking for the university,” said Prof. Fahrurrozi in his speech.

Progress 90 Percent and Data Integration Challenges. The core evaluation session was directly led by the Secretary of LPM UIN Mataram, Prof. Dr. H. Abdul Quddus, M.A. In his presentation, he revealed changes to the SAR ACQUIN form instrument. Nevertheless, the LPM, along with the accompanying team, has simplified the instruments to make them easier for the drafting team to understand.

Prof. Abdul Quddus revealed that, cumulatively, the progress of the SAR document preparation has actually reached 90 percent. However, he lamented the ongoing data supply issues from several work units. “Although it is already 90 percent, there is still substantive data that should be filled in by the assigned organs-such as the Rectorate, Bureau, and Department Heads—but the filling has not been optimal,” he stated.

Four Weeks Until Submission. Time is running out. The drafting team now has only four weeks left before the submission deadline of the document to ACQUIN in August 2026.
To ensure the team’s readiness, a workshop to strengthen the SAR document will soon be held online directly by ACQUIN. All team and cluster members are required to fully focus according to the task distribution that concerns the future of the campus’s academic quality.
The evaluation meeting was then continued with the presentation of work progress per cluster, starting with a presentation from the UIN Mataram Postgraduate Team, followed by the other clusters in turn until completion.
