Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Mataram continues to refine its steps toward international recognition. One of the strategic efforts undertaken is to hold a workshop on filling out the Web-Based Self-Assessment Report (SAR) Form. This activity is specifically designed to meet the current data and information requirements mandated by the international accreditation body, ACQUIN.

The commitment of leadership and the two-day data integration workshop are essential components of this initiative. This crucial activity The vice rector for academic affairs, Prof. Dr. Adi Pandli, M.Ag., officially opened this crucial activity. The workshop was officially opened by the vice rector for academic affairs, Prof. Dr. Adi Pandli, M.Ag. In his speech, Prof. Adi gave firm instructions to all participants, especially the website managers at the faculty, postgraduate, institution, and work unit levels within UIN Mataram. He reminded us that the momentum of this two-day workshop should be optimally utilized to upload and complete all the data sources needed for filling out the SAR ACQUIN.

The goal is to achieve a global presence while maintaining local identity. The Rector of UIN Mataram, Prof. Dr. H. Masnun Tahir, M.Ag., emphasized the importance of esthetics and accessibility for the campus’s digital platform while also providing guidance. According to Prof. Masnun, the UIN Mataram website must appear more beautiful, neat, and attractive to all layers of society, not just to students.

“At least, if the UIN Mataram building cannot appear grand, the website’s appearance must be grand,” said the rector, providing a strong analogy regarding the importance of digital branding.
Furthermore, Prof. Masnun instructed that the campus website should be accessible to the widest extent possible to both the academic community and the general public. Regarding foreign language content for global consumption, he made an important note about cultural originality. The rector requested that genuine local terms not be forced to be translated into foreign languages but rather be maintained as local identities. Nevertheless, the visual appearance and the main language of the website must remain friendly and easily accessible to the global public by using currently recognized international languages.

Standardization of SOP Toward Senate Resolution To align the technical management of this digital aspect, the workshop featured a speaker from the Information Technology and Data Center (TIPD) of UIN Mataram, represented by Wahyu Ramadhan. In his presentation, Wahyu thoroughly discussed the ideal website format that can support accreditation needs. Before exploring the main material, all participants were asked to open their respective websites to agree on a uniform appearance.

The agreement on the website management procedures based on the ACQUIN form requirements does not stop in the workshop room. The agreement between the SAR ACQUIN form-drafting team, the web managers, and the Quality Assurance Institution (LPM) of UIN Mataram will be followed up on to become an official standard operating procedure (SOP).
The legality of this SOP will first be tested by TIPD, and then its quality will be controlled by LPM UIN Mataram. After going through those stages, the SOP draft will be tested and approved by the Senate of UIN Mataram before being officially ratified by the rector to become the standard guide for university website management.
